Spring Bucket list

Updated: Apr 15, 2021

Can you believe we already in the fourth month of the year? It doesn't even seem possible that it's April, we were just ringing in the New Year with hopes of things getting better pandemic-wise, and now, we're here.

Blue Ridge Outdoor covered our family for their April magazine edition. It's really nice seeing more brands embrace the Black Family and I'm glad to be a part of it.

We have officially celebrated our fourth major holiday pandemic style, and things are beginning to look a little brighter. We've been enjoying Field Trip Fridays with our friends that are also homeschooling this year and the boys started their first homeschool soccer program. They really enjoyed being around kids outside of each other. It felt like life prior to 2020. I liked having the opportunity to talk with other homeschool parents that are veterans in this game. The conversation was uplifting and exactly what I needed when I needed it. Homeschooling is a challenging journey, having community support is critical is so important for how you maneuver through it.

As we work on getting vaccinated, I'm feeling optimistic about Spring. Overdue visits from my parents, indoor activities here and there, and tackling our bucket list. There's so much to look forward to, and I hope the season brings something bright and fresh your way!

Be sure to let me know which you're most excited about trying, we have already knocked off a few of these and looking forward to seeing how many we complete.
